Getting started

Apparently this is the new answer to LiveJournal.  I quit LiveJournal after the Russians took it over -- what with Russian interference in the various western elections including that of the US, I'm completely not comfortable posting things where they have access to and control of anything I write.  Especially now when I'm likely to occasionally veer off into politics.  So no. Just no.

I haven't journaled for a very long time though.  It's going to take some time to get used to again.  I tried to set up a blog a couple times but that went nowhere.  I should copy my couple of posts across from there probably.

Other than that, here I am.  I like that I can have more icons than I did on LJ, but it took a long time to set them up this afternoon, I'm not sure about my choices yet, and I don't think I have my journal really designed the way I want either.  It'll take a bit.

Thanks for the compliment. The design is my own, executed by an artist friend. It's been the symbol for "dragonfare" for a long, long time.

Did you figure out how to add to your "circle" yet?
